By accessing or using SpeedyNote (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time, and your continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of any changes.
SpeedyNote is an AI-powered note-taking companion that helps users process, summarize, and study lecture content. The Service includes features such as audio transcription, AI-generated summaries, flashcard generation, quizzes, and an AI assistant. Features may be added, modified, or removed at our discretion.
To use the Service, you must create an account using a supported authentication provider (e.g., Google or Apple Sign In). You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activities that occur under your account. You must provide accurate information and promptly update any changes. You must not share your account credentials or allow others to access your account.
SpeedyNote offers both free and premium subscription plans. Premium subscriptions are billed through Stripe on a monthly or yearly basis. By subscribing to a premium plan, you authorize us to charge the applicable fees to your payment method. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the end of the current billing period. Refunds are handled in accordance with our refund policy and applicable platform guidelines. Free tier usage is subject to monthly limits as described in the Service.
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not: upload content that infringes on intellectual property rights; use the Service to harass, abuse, or harm others; attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems; use automated means to access the Service beyond normal use; distribute malware or other harmful code; or use the Service in any way that could damage, disable, or impair it.
You retain ownership of all content you upload to the Service. By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to process your content solely to provide the Service. The Service itself, including its design, features, and technology, is owned by SpeedyNote and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of the Service.
The Service uses artificial intelligence to generate summaries, flashcards, quizzes, and other content. AI-generated content is provided for informational and educational purposes only and may contain errors or inaccuracies. You should not rely solely on AI-generated content for critical decisions. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any AI-generated content. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying any AI-generated content before use.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SpeedyNote and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability for any claims arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
You may terminate your account at any time by deleting your account through the Service. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately, and we may delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which SpeedyNote operates, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes by posting a notice on the Service or sending an email. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
